Little Green Cars are the latest export from Dublin; a five piece band who released their debut single “The John Wayne” through Young & Lost Club on July 25th. You can purchase a copy of the 7″ here.
The group write songs straight from the tremulous heart of chief songwriter and guitarist Stevie Appleby, with frank lyrics put to chiming melody that echoes The Acorn and Guillemots, whose producer David Kosten the band have worked with. Little Green Cars have already built up an impressive following, received praise from Huw Stephens and BBC 6 Music, and are set to play various festivals this summer.
