Hailing from Glasgow, Scott McWatt has made the transition from fronting rock band Lost City Lights to go it alone for the first time since he started making music at only 16 years old. Now he has become a fully fledged solo artist with his first EP – “Twenty-5/Eighty-7” – due for release on 20th June.

Scott’s powerfully melodic voice is his most captivating feature, coupled with his trusty acoustic guitar this makes for a match made in folk/rock heaven. He has a voice that makes even a bigger venue feel like an intimate gig as his songs exude raw emotion with their heartfelt lyrics and tangible stage presence.

Influences come from a rather eclectic mix of The Beatles to Biffy Clyro to even Johnny Cash! Obviously this is a musician with a penchant for meaningful lyrics and equally beguiling sound.
