As the countdown to the release of their debut album Resort continues, the Glasgow-based duo Tuff Love increase the already eager anticipation by sharing the video for one of the record’s tracks, ‘Crocodile’.
Resort comprises the band’s three EPs to date – Junk, Dross and Dregs – listing all 15 tracks in their original order of appearance.
The video to ‘Crocodile’ – directed by Ben Cowie & Alan Cameron of Glaswegian collective Wake Up Advice – frames Tuff Love’s Julie Eisenstein (guitar, vocals) and Suse Bear (bass, vocals) with their regular live drummer Iain Stewart (also a member of The Phantom Band) in a roomful of mirrors. Watching Tuff Love perform the song (taken from last month’s third EP Dregs) through a partially psychedelic prism connects their beautifully melodic guitar sound from its late 60s genesis to its rightful place in the modern day.
