Tomorrow night – Wednesday, 28th October – the Leeds-based Joseph Lyons (aka Eaves) will be performing a hometown show at the famous Brudenell Social Club. Joined by the young Scottish singer-songwriter Rory Butler and fellow Leeds’ resident Sam Airey, Eaves will be playing the penultimate show of his 14-date jaunt around the UK that has taken him all the way from Ullapool in the Scottish Highlands to Ramsgate on the south-east coast of England.
As Eaves’ star continues to ascend he moves ever-closer to that sacred musical void left by Jeff Buckley‘s tragic, early passing. Expect to hear songs from his debut album What Green Feels Like. Originally released back in April, the record has just received the deluxe edition treatment courtesy of four brand new tracks being added to the recent re-issue. One of those songs, ‘Jack Madness’, can be heard below.
