NEWS: Search Results announce album Go Mutant, release new single ‘Be Laurel’ + confirm live dates

Search Results share details for new album Go Mutant, which will be released on 23 May. Alongside the announcement, the band share new single ‘Be Laurel ‘and confirm additional UK and Ireland live dates. Search Results will also perform at The Great Escape Festival and End Of The Road Festival. Since the start of 2025, the Irish band have made a name for themselves with rousing performances at Eurosonic as well as The Line Of Best Fit 5 Day Forecast. They are led by Jack Condon and Fionn Brennan – a pair of friends with with an almost telepathic connection, beguiling onstage chemistry and a sick penchant for making one another laugh mid-song.  On ‘Be Laurel‘, Search Results share:

A testament to my baby years and time spent with my wonderful granny, watching old movies and laughing our hearts out to Laurel and Hardy” – Fionn

I don’t remember writing, playing or recording that song. Complete blackout everytime
– Jack

Building on the energetic swirl of 2023’s Information Blip and their EPs, Search Results’ follow-up Go Mutant takes its title seriously, bringing idiosyncrasies to the fore, and at under just 35 minutes, it manages to sound both frantic and precise. Over the course of 13 songs, they have created an immersive, bold piece of work, a fitting musical statement for a band with such interesting influences that range from Abigail’s Party to Thinking Fellers Union Local 282.
