NEWS: The Big Brass Blowout

When: 11 – 13 April 2025

Where: Bradford, West Yorkshire, England

Bradford 2025 is the new UK City of Culture. Bradford District was selected by the UK Government in May 2022 from a record-breaking 20 bids and as part of this designation there will feature throughout the year a series of “performances, exhibitions, events, and activities inspired by the extraordinary variety of this landscape, from the city’s historic centre to the breathtaking countryside that surrounds it.”

One such event to be taking place over the second weekend in April this year is The Big Brass Blowout, a three-day celebration of the best in brass music from Black Dyke classics to bhangra mash-ups, traditional tunes to afrobeat rhythms.
