NEWS: Flower Show release debut single, Bags For Life

Flower Show are a queer six-piece indie band from Liverpool. And ahead of the arrival of their debut album Painted Nails & Silver Bells – which will be self-released on 2nd May this year – they have today unveiled the LP’s first single.

It is called ‘Bags For Life’ and has been described by Flower Show as “a shapeshifting explosion of pop and alt-rock shot through with razor-sharp lyrics that evoke the best (and worst) elements of queer life in Brexit Britain, taking in everything from fights outside Bargain Booze to cross-dressing drunken toilet injuries and toxic positivity.”

The album features contributions from Willow Beggs and arrangements by Jon Hering of Ex-Easter Island Head and arrives accompanied by a rather wonderful lyric video directed by Craig Sinclair with director of photography, Chris Jenkins and grading/lyric animation completed by Kieran Gabriel.
