NEWS: Green Man announces first wave of acts for this year’s festival

When: 14 – 17 August 2025

Where: Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, Wales

Wales’s largest music, science, and arts festival, Green Man, has today announced the first wave of acts who will be playing at this year’s event.

The 2025 headliners are the Belfast rap trio Kneecap, acclaimed indie sensations Wet Leg, legendary electronic duo Underworld, Brooklyn alt-rock mainstays TV On The Radio, and Beth Gibbons, lead singer of Portishead.

This news follows all tickets for Green Man’s 2025 edition having sold out in just 60 minutes. This was in half the time it had taken last year’s event to sell out. Furthermore, this is before its line-up had even been announced and with still 11 months to go before the event.

Other acts who will be joining Green Man’s headliners in the beautiful surroundings of the Black Mountains deep in the heart of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park this year include the fast-rising guitar band Wunderhorse, South London electro-punk band Fat Dog, Leeds post-punk quartet Yard Act, the Irish popstar and songwriter CMAT, and the mercurial British singer/songwriter Nilüfer Yanya

You can also add to this incredibly exciting list, the names of Perfume Genius, Cassandra Jenkins, MJ Lenderman & The Wind and in continuing Green Man’s commitment to showcasing some of the best names in Welsh music, this year will see the likes of Los Campesinos!, Gwenno, Tristwch Y Fenywod, Pys Melin, Adwaith grace the festival’s stages, as well as the return of long-term festival favourites Melin Melyn.
