Aderyn – aka Lisa Martin the Welsh alt/pop singer-songwriter, has released her effervescent new single ‘Foreverever’ via Bandcamp with digital distribution by Distrokid.
She describes ‘Foreverever‘ as “a scuzzy yet hooky tune about the rush of committing to forever with somebody.” With bubblegum melodies, playful riffing and a zippy electro-pop sound underscored by lyrics that contemplate the rushing dichotomies of “forever” love, it’s another cracking single from Aderyn.
Of the new single ‘Foreverever’ Lisa says, “Mood swings take me from lamenting consequences, to dancing over them on ‘Foreverever’. With this song, I’m ready to put down the Sylvia Plath novel and fixate on the heady rush of committing to forever.”
‘Foreverever’ is less fuzzy and abrasive than its predecessor ‘Hangxiety’, with the scuzzy riffs moulded by Gethin Pearson’s production into a more shiny pop song.
The single is released as part of Aderyn’s new three-track EP also called, ‘Foreverever’. The Digital EP will be released 28th Feb 2025 and features the current single ‘Foreverever’, the previous single ‘Hangxiety’, and the accompanying track, ‘Deep Dive’. All three tracks were produced by Gethin Pearson at The School of Sonic Architecture, West Wales.

Aderyn has achieved a lot in her short career thus far. BBC HORIZONS backed PRS Momentum Accelerator Fund winner, Welsh Music Prize Triskel winner with airplay on BBCR1, Radio X and BBC Radio 6 Music and tipped by us at GIITTV.
She left her sheep farm in the Brecon Beacons at age 16 and became a drummer in a grunge band. Following stints drumming for West end musicals post-pandemic Lisa reset her musical direction with ‘maximum’ as her goal and began drip feed releasing a series of thrilling alt-pop indie singles.
Previously signed to CLWB Music – (Panic Shack, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard) but now proudly independent, Aderyn is the Welsh word for bird. (Pronunciation: Add – Erin, two equal syllables.)
