Black Grape has today announced an extensive UK tour taking place in November and December 2025. The tour will mark the 30th anniversary
of the classic debut Number 1 album It’s Great When You’re Straight…Yeah. The band’s main support on the tour is Dodgy.
Originally formed after the first break-up of Shaun Ryder‘s band Happy Mondays, Black Grape saw him work with rapper Kermit, formerly of the Ruthless Rap Assassins. The new band had 4 Top 10 singles and their debut album It’s Great When You’re Straight…Yeah shot straight to No.1 in the UK charts upon its release in 1995 and went Platinum. Follow up album Stupid Stupid Stupid went Gold in 1997. Having originally split up in 1998, the band have reformed several times, going on to release further studio albums Pop Voodoo in 2017 and Orange Head last year.
