NEWS: Edwyn Collins announces tenth studio album ‘Nation Shall Speak Unto Nation’

Edwyn Collins has announced details of his forthcoming new album. The one-time Orange Juice frontman will release Nation Shall Speak Unto Nation via his own AED Records on March 14. It’s his first album since 2019’s Badbea.

‘Knowledge’, the first track to be taken from the album, is accompanied by a video shot between Christmas and New Year in Edwyn’s home village of Helmsdale and directed by Delbert Anthonio Wright, a talented young filmmaker whom Edwyn has known since he was a child.

Talking about the track, Edwyn said: ‘Knowledge is something I think about. I used to be quite brainy, still am in a way. But knowledge is wisdom, combined with all the things you’ve learned. I think, I hope I’ve learned a lot.
