NEWS: Ezra Collective, Seun Kuti, and Goldie added to Mostly Jazz 2025

The multi-award-winning Ezra Collective, Nigerian singer-songwriter and modern-day revolutionary Seun Kuti, and drum’n’bass pioneer Goldie are the latest acts confirmed for next year’s Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul Festival which will take place in the idyllic surroundings of Moseley Park and Pool, Birmingham between 11 and 13 July.

Also added to the bill are the former Glaswegian buskers and brass-powered soul/ funk band, Tom McGuire and The Brassholes.

They join the previously announced War and Mostly regular, DJ Craig Charles.

Since debuting in 2010, Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul has consistently delivered a diverse line-up that combines trailblazing international artists with innovative and emerging British acts. There is always a strong emphasis upon promoting local talent.

Speaking about the latest additions to next year’s bill, John Fell, Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul’s Manager, said: “With a flood of major accolades, Ezra Collective have had an incredible 12-18 months. They’re not just one of the hottest jazz acts in the country, but one of the hottest acts from any genre.

“Add in Seun Kuti and Egypt 80, as well as Goldie, War and Craig Charles, and 2025’s festival is already shaping up to be a classic – and we still have some more surprises to announce …”

Further 2025 line-up additions will be announced over the coming months.
