NEWS: Melvins frontman King Buzzo and Trevor Dunn Announce Acoustic UK/EU Tour

Frontman of the eternally iconic alt-rock/metal band the Melvins, King Buzzo (Buzz Osborne), has announced his return to UK and European stages this autumn, marking his second-ever solo tour. Dubbed the “King Dunn Tour,” this highly anticipated series of acoustic performances will see Osborne team up with Trevor Dunn, renowned bass player from Mr. Bungle and Melvins Lite. This tour comes ten years after King Buzzo’s last solo live shows.

I’ve been waiting a LONG time to do an acoustic tour with Trevor,” Osborne shares. “He’s a fantastic player, and has the ability to make his bass sound like an oil tanker crashing into a coral reef.”

Osborne and Dunn’s partnership goes beyond the stage. The duo previously worked together on Osborne’s 2020 solo album, ‘Gift of Sacrifice‘, and as members of the avant-garde supergroup Fantômas. For this special tour, Dunn will wield a stand-up concert bass, while King Buzzo will deliver his signature vocals and acoustic guitar performance.
