On 26th September, The Cure will release ‘ALONE’, the first song from their long-awaited new album, SONGS OF A LOST WORLD, their first new record in sixteen years.
They recently announced the album’s release date (1/11/2024)with a poster outside of The Railway, in Crawley, the pub where they played their first gig at in 1978!
‘ALONE’ will debut on Mary Anne Hobbs’s BBC Radio 6Music show on September 26th between 10.30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Further details about the album will also be revealed that day. There is a teaser clip of their new music on their website listen here.
Founded in 1978, The Cure have sold over 30 million albums worldwide, headlined the Glastonbury festival four times, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.
