Glasgow’s TRNSMT Festival 2024 was blessed with glorious weather, not a drop of rain fell all weekend and no wellies were required. This year’s edition sold out for all three days: 12, 13 and 14 July. With a capacity of 50,000 per day this is the festival that replaced T in the Park. There is no camping on site and the festival is within walking distance from Glasgow city centre. The headliners were Liam Gallagher, Gerry Cinnamon and Calvin Harris, a dominance of male artists. TRNSMT is a mix of current and future local heroes, as well as those from further afield. Ireland seemed to dominate this year with sets by CMAT, The Scratch, The Mary Wallopers, Sprints, Somebody’s Child and Kingfishr to name but a few.
