NEWS: Jack Jones unveils lively new single ‘Who Let The Bass Pump Through The Floor’

Last month, Jack Jones announced details of his self-titled debut solo album, alongside its leading single, ‘Breathe’.

Following the success of ‘Breathe’ – which was picked up by BBC 6Music and featured on the BBC’s coverage of the Euros football – the Trampolene frontman is back with single number two.

Jack has embarked on a new direction for his solo career, setting aside his guitar to embrace a fresh and highly contemporary sound. Louder and more raucous than its predecessor, ‘Who Let The Bass Pump Through The Floor’ is a dance-floor monster that demands to be played through your speakers at full volume.

“When we first started drinking as young kids, we couldn’t get into pubs or anything, so we used to always have house parties… It was just an excuse to find someone’s flat and destroy it. The song’s the idea of people arriving from the street, and coming in, each with their own back-story. It’s a bit of a banger!”

Heavily beat-driven, the tracks infectious rhythm and energetic groove creates an irresistible urge to dance. To add to the excitement, the dynamic track has been released alongside an exhilarating music video, which was filmed at Glastonbury by Barnaby Fairley. As well as a set with Trampolene, Jack played a solo set of his own, as well as a late night secret set at the iconic Strummerville.

Jack’s upcoming solo album, Jack Jones, will be available on vinyl in multiple colour formats, CD and digital download. You can pre order it here.
