Today we we are debuting the video for ‘No Flash’ a vibrant new collaboration between DJ / production duo The Allergies & legendary Brooklyn hiphop- soul artist Omega Watts.
Their new rhythm heavy, old school, conscious hiphop funk track is out now via cult Brighton label Jalapeño Records. The single is taken from The Allergies next album, Freak The Speaker, out on September 20th. Watch the video below.
The Allergies are back with the latest rap cut from their forthcoming album. This time they’ve recruited New York rhyme royalty, Ohmega Watts. The rap veteran delivers his electrically charged and thought-provoking lyrics over a cacophony of maxed out drums. Throwing shade at shallow fakers, and taking pin-point shots at those that don’t do this for the art.
With expertly chopped and layered breaks and samples crackling over haunted piano and guitar licks. Leaving space for anthemic, sweeping drones to swell as the man on the mic delivers a sermon you can’t help but bang your head to.
The Allergies are touring extensively in the run up to and post album release.
