NEWS: Adult DVD new single ‘Doomsday Prepper’, EP plus tour dates

Leeds Dance-Rock outfit Adult DVD have released the second single ‘Doomsday Prepper’ from their forthcoming EP Next Day Shipping which is set for release on 24 September. The six-piece will embark on an extensive tour across the UK and Europe in support of the EP including headline dates at the legendary Moth Club in London and a hometown headline at The Brudenell Social Club in Leeds.

Doomsday Prepper’ is all about preparing for the end of the world, but of course this being Adult DVD “I’ve got everything I need before this party to proceed”. The band have injected the funk into their hook-laden style. The instrumentation is wild and at times chaotic, as if falling apart along with the world, but then it slips back into its infectious groove. The warped percussion, distorted backing vocals and screaming synths combine to reflect the carnage of the subject manner. The gang vocals are superb and the humour is there in spades. Frontman Harry Hanson’s deadpan delivery here adds to the overall vibe which nods towards Indie Dance and Acid House.

Adult DVD are Harry Hanson (Lead Vocals), Greg Lonsdale (Synth / Vocals), Jake Williams (Synth), Danny Blackburn (Guitar / Synth), George Manson (Bass), and Jonathan Newell (Drums)
