Izzy Outerspace releases her new EP ‘Lip Service‘ tomorrow and we are debuting the entire release below. Her anthemic song writing pieces together elements of charming ethereal dream pop melodies and hip swinging Americana and buries them into a vivid collection of life affirming, hooky, soaring songs. Outerspace has a individual heartfelt take on melodies and song writing that reminds one at points of Courtney Barnett, Mazzy Star or Big Thief.
It contains the previous single from the EP, ‘A Bird’ is a twanging, reverb coated track, with swaying percussion sewn with Outerspace’s wonderful lilting vocals that spiral into the sky on a swelling chorus, as she wishes she was a bird with all of their freedom, it’s a western inspired slice of escapist melody
