Leading round three of the announcements for Black Deer Festival is a UK festival exclusive performance from Rufus Wainwright. Continuing what’s becoming a key part of their MO, Wainwright joins previously announced leftfield-for-festivals-yet-very-mainstream headliners Joe Bonamassa (another UK festival exclusive) and Sheryl Crow.
Topping the excitement chart are Americana royalty Rosanne Cash and John Leventhal, new country traditionalists Brennen Leigh & Joshua Hedley, and LA expat Jade Bird.
Returning to the festival is the Caffé Nero curated stage, and they have now revealed their first acts, Tom Speight, Ruby J and Isabella Coulstock.
Previously announced artists like harmonic sisters The Staves, ethereal folker Villagers, Dale Watson & His Lonestars, country singer Alyssa Bonagura, the un-genre-able BC Camplight, and Western AF, consisting of Kristina Murray, Todd Day Wait, and Pat Reedy.
Alongside the music is the usual Black Deer fare of Live Fire BBQ area, including cookery classes and eating competitions, the famous Sunday gospel brunch, among other delights.
Tickets are on sale now, and Black Deer is on from Friday 14th June to Sunday 16th June 2024.
