NEWS: Saloon Dion announce debut EP, Muckers and share Happiness video

Bristol post-punks Saloon Dion announce debut EP, Muckers, due for release May 19th via Mucker Records and share a video for their latest anthemic banger, ‘Happiness.’

The follow-up to frenetic lead single ‘I Don’t Feel’ last month. Dion’s latest output delivers on their trademark groove-laden beats and bass riffs, sparking further comparisons to acts such as Beastie Boys and Gang of Four.

The quintet explained, “This track is ultimately meant to remind people that it’s never too late to change things up and try new things. If your current path is making you unhappy, then sack it off and find a new one!” Watch here:

With regular radio spins from BBC 6 Music’s Lauren Laverne/Simone Butler, and BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, Saloon Dion’s profile is building at an impressive rate. On the live front, the band have just completed an acclaimed UK support run alongside Dutch maestros Pip Blom, preceding March dates with Grandmas House and their first ever trip stateside for SXSW (one of the first 26 British acts to be announced).

Saloon Dion’s ‘Happiness’ is now via Mucker Records and will be available on all digital platforms here and their EP is due on 19th May
