Releasing her new single with a deep rooted family related message which follows the style of her Irish storytelling roots is Bea Stewart, with her new single “Nicest Song I’ve Ever Written”. Released via Kin Records, the new single explores the relationship between her and her brother, as she explains “Nicest song I’ve ever written is about the unspoken bond between siblings – you know you care immensely about each other and would do anything in your power to make sure the other is ok but expressing that can be hard, and in my experience we rarely say it out loud. I wrote this song at a time when I could see my brother was struggling but I couldn’t find the right words to say to him. This song is my attempt at putting the unspoken into words.”
The new single sees Bea Stewart build a thorough scene for her heartfelt track to live within. “The Nicest Song I’ve Ever Written” is constructed through subtle and gentle guitar strums, strings and a warming clear sounding bass. Crossing folk with modern indie-pop, Bea’s ambitious sound is inspired by the likes of Irish & Northern Irish songwriters such as The Cranberries Dolores O’Riordan and Hozier.
Nicest song I’ve Ever Written is out now on all streaming platforms.
