London based singer-songwriter Adam Baring, aka Bears Banquet has released his first single ‘I Wrote This Song To Live In You‘ from his forthcoming album which is set to be released later this year. Capturing elements of British Indie Folk & Pop, the new single takes inspiration from artists such as Bob Dylan, Nick Drake, Jonny Flynn, Nick Mulvey and Bombay Bicycle Club.
Throughout, catchy vocals and a steady rhythm are all elements which makes this song cling to your head. The jolly ode is driven by melodic beeps of the drum machine and is tastefully woven with acoustic guitar and Baring idiosyncratic croons. According to Adam, his hope for the song is for it to do exactly what is said on the tin and find its home somewhere deep inside the recesses of your soul. Over the course of the next year, Bears Banquet will be dropping a track every month from his first album Fighting Mist In Light that incorporated the best of a decade’s worth of material.
‘I Wrote This Song To Live In You‘ is out now on all streaming platforms.
