Soccer Mommy has shared her new single ‘Bones’ and an accompanying video directed by Alex Ross Perry – with a bittersweet air and introspective lyrics, swelling to a fantastically fuzz-laden crescendo, its a wonderfully crafted taste of her new album.
Of the track, Soccer Mommy says: “Bones is a song about struggling with the parts of yourself that you don’t like in a relationship. It’s about wanting to become better for someone and feeling like you’re standing in your own way.”
‘Bones’ is the latest single from Soccer Mommy’s forthcoming album Sometimes,Forever out 24th June via Loma Vista. The album is produced by Daniel Lopatin (Oneohtrix Point Never).
Soccer Mommy has also announced a run of intimate acoustic shows at UK indie record stores to coincide with the album release – all the details below.

Sometimes, Forever “sees Allison once again tapping into the turn-of-the-millenium sensibilities she’s known for, as she advances her self-made sonic world beyond the present and into the future with experimental-minded production, an expanded moodboard of vintage touchstones, and some of her most sophisticated songwriting to date. Inspired by the concept that neither sorrow nor happiness is permanent, Sometimes, Forever is a fresh peek into the mind of an artist who synthesizes everything — retro sounds, personal tumult, the relatable disorder of modern life — into original music that feels built to last a long time. Maybe even forever.”
Soccer Mommy released her, GRAMMY-nominated second album color theory in 2020.
