Singer songwriter Jacko Hooper has today shared with us the video premiere of his new single, ‘This Was The Earth.’ The song was written and recorded in Jacko’s bedroom with the help from lifelong friend and producer, Josh Trinnaman and is Jacko’s first released track following his multiple single releases throughout 2020.
‘This Was The Earth’ is an emotionally captivating and honest song that focuses on the mental challenges and difficulties that so many of us have faced over the past year during the pandemic. It gives voice to Jacko’s own battles with his mental health, with the music video vividly complimenting this. Both the song and video saunter and glow with candour, underlining just how spellbinding and vital Jacko’s music is.
Explaining the meaning of the song, Jacko Hooper stated: “I don’t feel that the original story of why I wrote the song is necessarily the most important thing, I think the fact people can listen to it and all of a sudden it becomes a different story with a totally different meaning is the best thing of all, to be able to connect to it people need it to be their story, not mine”.
God Is In The TV is proud to host the premiere of the video of ‘This Was The Earth’.
‘This Was The Earth’ will be released on 12 March.
