Moses Sumney has shared a new music video for ‘Me In 20 Years‘ it’s the third full-scale music video Moses has released from his double album græ.
It follows Moses’ powerful self-directed videos for ‘Virile‘ and ‘Cut Me.’ ‘Me In 20 Years‘ is an emotionally devastating and personal look into Moses’ visions of the future, with an added twist of subtle and dreamlike visual elements. The video was directed by long-time collaborator Allie Avital and shot on location in Kiev, Ukraine.
‘Me In 20 Years‘ comes on the heels of Moses’ recent collaboration with fashion designer Thom Browne.
Moses Sumney’s newest album græ, out everywhere via Jagjaguwar Records, is a conceptual patchwork about greyness and expands upon the sonic universe built in Sumney’s debut LP Aromanticism and subsequent EP Black In Deep Red, 2014. The album features collaborations with a diverse array of contributors and is Sumney’s first work to be written in his new home of Asheville, North Carolina. The album also includes previous singles ‘Bless Me,’ ‘Cut Me,’ ‘Virile,’ ‘Polly,’ and ‘Conveyor‘ (which Sumney debuted in the form of a Moog Sound Lab session) and arrives after his COLORS performance of the aforementioned ‘Cut Me.’
