2020 will mark the 10th anniversary edition of the FOCUS Wales international showcase festival in Wrexham. The festival will see over 250+ acts from Wales and around the world descend upon Wrexham across 7th – 9th May. We are chuffed to announce our stage will feature dutch noisemakers Neighbours Burning Neighbours and exciting Cardiff band clClwb Fuzz.
FOCUS Wales have also announced cult American experimental rock band Battles, who join the festival’s 2020 line-up. The New York City duo released their 4th album Juicy B Crypts in October 2019, which features collaborations with Tune-Yards and Liquid Liquid, amongst others. Battles will play Friday 8th May at Llwyn Isaf, Wrexham.
Also announced is the electronic artist best known as one half of critically acclaimed Factory Floor, Nik Colk Void. God Damn also return to FOCUS Wales this year. These acts join the likes of Richard Hawley, Altin Gün, Gruff Rhys, Flamingods, Lucy Spraggan and Catrin Finch & Sekou Keita, who have already been announced for the festival.

FOCUS Wales has become Wales’ biggest music industry event, with three days of panels, keynote talks, and industry advice, the festival will see over 400 music industry professionals descend upon Wrexham from around the world. Delegates announced today include: Jude Rogers (The Guardian), Martin Elbourne (Glastonbury), Klaus Pwela (Arcadia Live, Austria), Cesar Andion (Live Nation, Spain), and Sam Dabb (Le Pub).
