PREVIEW: Holy Holy’s February 2019 UK Tour

Holy Holy, the supergroup which performs the songs of David Bowie from the years 1969-73, arrive in York on Friday on what will be the first night of a 13-date tour of the United Kingdom. The all-star band – approved by Bowie during his lifetime – features his good friend and long-time producer Tony Visconti on bass guitar, drummer Woody Woodmansey from Bowie’s backing band The Spiders from Mars and vocals from Glenn Gregory of Heaven 17.

On this tour, Holy Holy will play The Man Who Sold The World and The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars – the albums that David Bowie released in 1970 and ’72 respectively – plus other Bowie hits from that period.
