The Great Escape has long had a tradition of championing the best international talent. In recent years Poland, the Baltics and Switzerland have all had the starring role as the festival’s lead international partners. 2018 was the turn of The Netherlands. GIITTV joined the Dutch showcase party to celebrate the hottest new talent that included Pip Blom‘s fuzzy garage pop, the melancholy indie folk of Pitou as well as sharp-edged punk-inspired sounds of Canshaker Pi and The Homesick.
