LA duo Magic Wands release their third album Abrakadabra tomorrow (18th May), through Casa Del Punte Discos. Today, we are proud to have the premiere stream of the entire long player, listen above.
Magic Wands are Dexy and Chris Valentine who formed the band in 2009 between LA and Nashville. The band have released two albums Jupiter and Aloha Moon, with tracks remixed by The XX and Crystal Fighters.
Skirting the edges of dream pop laced with evocative harmonies, simmering synths and propulsive post-punk elements, Magic Wands craft a thrilling marriage redolent of the wistfulness of Beach House and the tugging hooks of Warpaint.
Recorded at Voltiv Studios in LA and produced by Phil Galloni and the band themselves and mixed by Grammy Award winner Tim Young, the album features 10 tracks with an extra track Puzzle Of Love for pre-orders and digital release only. The full tracklisting is as follows:

Magic Wands continue to evolve and expand their auditory landscape while retaining their trademark aesthetic of all-things “Magic, Love and Dreams.”
Magic Wands have supported the likes of The Horrors, The Black Keys, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Raconteurs, The Wombats and The Kills and recently embarked on a UK and European tour at the end of last year. They have announced an album tour in June where they will be backed by their band, bassist Tommy Alexander, drummer Pablo Amador and keyboardist Phil Galoni, which includes UK shows in Ramsgate, Brighton and London.
