Suede are set to release their new album ‘The Blue Hour’ on September 21st. Watch a trailer below.
The band’s eighth studio album in all, news of ‘The Blue Hour’ comes after the recent release of Brett Anderson‘s memoirs ‘Coal Black Mornings.’
Produced by Alan Moulder at Assault & Battery Studios, the new record follows the 2016’s ‘Night Thoughts’.
Designed as one continuous piece, ‘The Blue Hour’ utilises string arrangements performed by City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
Suede explain:
‘The Blue Hour’ is the time of day when the light is fading and night is closing in. The songs hint at a narrative but never quite reveal it and never quite explain. But as with any Suede album, it’s always about the songwriting. The band, the passion and the noise: The Blue Hour.
