FOCUS Wales have announced Gaz Coombes as an additional headliner to the already jam-packed 2018 line-up. Coombes will perform an intimate solo show at the William Aston Hall, Wrexham on Saturday 12th May, following the release of his new album World’s Strongest Man (out 4th May 2018). For nearly two decades with Supergrass, Gaz Coombes came to embody the oddball end of British music, but it is through his new solo work that he has found himself. With his 2015 album Matador, he presented a new musical identity. It earned him a Mercury Prize nomination. “With Matador I almost got it right…” he says.
