Following on from her debut single released in November 2017, singer/songwriter ARK releases her second single ‘Operator‘ today (16th February 2018) and we have the first airing. ‘Operator’ is a soulful, evocative cut that balances sensitivity and euphoric release, inspired by ARK’s experience of moving back to London and the overwhelming sense of big city life in contrast to suburban living. As ARK herself explains, “it’s a song that needed to be written in order for me to let go and embrace the vulnerability that we all feel here in London!”
ARK’s debut single ‘Made for Us’ generated over half a million streams on Spotify in the first six weeks of release. ARK has been performing at selected venues over the last year including supports for Scott Matthews, Meadowlark, and Oscar & the Wolf. Further selected performances along with more track releases are all planned for 2018.
