Breakfast Muff have shared the video for the tremulous DIY pop of “Clam” taken from their album Eurgh! which came out earlier this year via Amour Foo. Watch the charming retro Super-8-style new video for “Clam” below. Eilidh McMillan explains more about the short and sweet track, “This song is about someone who lashes out at other people because they are scared of being themselves or being exposed in some way.”
Over the past year the band have embarked on a 13-date tour of the UK and Europe. An uncompromising trio from Glasgow the band consists of Eilidh McMillan (Rapid Tan, Joanna Gruesome), Simone Wilson (Hairband, Mary Column) and Cal Donnelly (Spinning Coin, Rapid Tan), who all switch between guitar, bass and drums in a cacophony of anxiety, celebration and creativity. Featuring songs about sexuality, feminism and feelings, the album ranges from soft to screechy, in an all-round giant dose of fun.
