The National have announced the release of their seventh album. It is entitled Sleep Well Beast and will be released by 4AD on September 8. The produced by member Aaron Dessner with co-production by Bryce Dessner and Matt Berninger.

The first track to be unveiled from the album is ‘The System Only Dreams in Total Darkness’ and the video for the song, directed by Casey Reas, can be seen below.
