After a successful 2016 culminating in a headline slot at Leeds and Reading festival’s BBC Introducing stages and the release of their warmly received debut album MUNRO, Coquin Migale are back with their first single of the year.
Following on from the epic, spacious grunge-pop of ‘SOFT’, ‘PLANS’ is a three-and-a-half minute indie rock anthem that sees the band once again delivering some of the most catchy hooks in the land. “I’ve been down for quite some time/Don’t you feel it?” asks frontman Alexander Soper on the chorus, his vocals soaring atop a cascading waterfall of guitars and drums. The band are also set to play Great Escape and Liverpool sound City again this month.
