Robin Edwards, betters known as off-kilter musician and producer R.Seiliog released his latest EP Shedhead last year via Turnstile Music. Edwards said that the collection contained “something for every-single-one unified in the omni shallow depths; A fast one, slow one, happy one, sad one – and another one […] Instrumental meditations on cats chasing tails, autumnal trips to short sighted opticians and much more, or less.”
He’s now shared his new single from the EP, the noisy, trance-inflected track ‘Myopia.’ The song begins with glacial synths that combine to produce a heady wall-of-sound before introducing a smattering of house beats, more percussive elements and euphoric electronic melodies. It consistently threatens to blow by returning to its original barrage of synths, but Edwards keeps things restrained and fascinating as a result. Listen below.
R.Seiliog will also be performing in Brighton and London this week. Details below.
