Montreal band The Dears are releasing their brand new album, Times Infinity Volume One, on 3rd February 2017 on Dangerbird Records. Frontman Murray A. Lightburn said of the first of a two-part body of work that “it was very difficult to wrap one’s head around at first, but by the end of production, it just became easier and easier. It’s a metaphor for life, and our life’s story.”
Having already shared two singles (‘I Used to Wait for the Heavens to Fall’ and ‘We Lost Everything’), they’ve now unveiled their new single ‘Here’s to the Death of All the Romance.’ It’s another fuzzy, melancholic number that gradually continues to build up to a thunderous climax. Listen below.
After the release of the new album, The Dears will also be heading out on a short tour of the UK in February. It’s their first UK tour in six years. Details below.
24th February – The Globe, Cardiff
