NEWS: The Coral to present debut art collection next month

Liverpool psych-pop band The Coral are launching a special exhibition documenting the music, artwork and stories behind the album Distance Inbetween, which was released earlier this year.  Running from 8th to 22nd December at Harrogate’s RedHouse Originals Gallery, the exhibition will feature new and unseen artwork alongside special edition prints that will help illuminate the songs on the LP.

The artwork for Distance Inbetween was produced by drummer and co-songwriter Ian Skelly – who has created all of the band’s artwork for their 2002 debut album – and has ranged in the past from psychedelic Victorian-inspired cut and paste collages to surreal comic book illustrations.  Also on display at the exhibition will be artefacts and ephemera that inspired the creation of the album itself.

For more information about the exhibition, visit the RedHouse Originals Gallery website.
