When: 11th-13th May 2017
Where: Wrexham, Wales
After already announcing a separate event in conjunction with Wrexham Council taking place in March, FOCUS Wales has announced the first wave of acts to play at their 2017 festival in May.
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Georgia Ruth will be bringing her latest album Fossil Scale to the event, and I Am Kloot frontman John Bramwell will also be playing a set. In addition, Super Furry Animals’ Guto Pryce heads to the three-day festival with his psych-pop project Gulp, collaborative Welsh rock outfit Islet will play songs from their new EP Liquid Half Moon, and hotly-tipped Cardiff grime-punk outfit Asteroid Boys are set to perform a raucous show.
Elsewhere, HMS Morris will be showcasing tunes from their brand new album Interior Design. Other acts added to the bill include CaStLeS, Coquin Migale, Peaness and Seazoo.
A spokesperson for the festival said: “2016 was a landmark year for FOCUS Wales and we’re looking forward to another massive year for the festival, the first wave of announcements gives just a glimpse of what we have up our sleeves for 2017.”
Early bird tickets for the festival are now on sale. For more information on the line-up and tickets, visit the FOCUS Wales website.
