After releasing her incredibly successful debut EP Empty Palaces at the beginning of the year, Newcastle-based dreampop singer-songwriter Keiandra has spent much of the year supporting acts as diverse as Bryde, Let’s Eat Grandma and Tuska. She’s also taken her work on the road, playing some of her first shows outside of the North East.
After a quiet spell in terms of new music, she’s now unveiled a brand new single, ‘Milk Tooth,’ a taste of a second EP planned for early 2017. Like much of Empty Palaces before it, the track is bathed in swirling, fuzzy and delirious soundscapes, not unlike Warpaint or The Japanese House. It’s described as her discovery track, and a reflection of her life to date and what’s to come. It’s certainly another very promisingly ethereal slice from the 19 year old. Listen below.
