Following the release of their soundtrack to the blockbuster game No Man’s Sky in August, instrumental rock group 65daysofstatic have announced that they’ll be re-releasing their 2005 LP One Time For All Time on 18th November. It’ll be a limited edition run of 1000 deluxe vinyl LPs, 500 copies on black and 500 on cream-coloured vinyl. All the copies will contain a large-format 12 page booklet containing all 1000 of the Polaroid pictures taken by the band for their limited edition ‘Radio Protector’ single.
The band themselves said: “We have never worked with a record label as great as Monotreme Records and they never do vinyl half-heartedly. It’s cool to finally have all that hyper-treble and scratchy confusion we recorded back in 2006 pressed onto heavy plastic to warm it up a bit. Plus this reissue gave us a chance to revisit our ‘Radio Protector’ Polaroid project — a thousand 7 inch singles, each with a unique cover. We made a special booklet for this vinyl with images and titles for all 1000, finally bringing them together in the same place for the first time. Pretty happy with that.” Watch the trailer for the album re-release below.
