Experimental pop singer and producer FKA Twigs is curating the second annual celebration of creative and art cultural prowess, The Veuve Clicquot Widow Series, on 27th and 28th October. She has now announced details of her project, titled Rooms. It’s set to bring together all aspects of FKA Twigs’ work, including performance art, set design, theatre, costume, and dance, and has been entirely written and produced by the singer.
The narrative, which follows the character of DIAMAS as she searches for her spiritual and zodiac home, will be told by a cast of 30 across 12 different room installations. Each room has been created by different artists, each using a figure of the zodiac to create a world where the audience can be immersed into the story and performance.
Twigs herself said of the partnership: “There aren’t always opportunities to make your wildest creative ideas a reality. This is one of my most ambitious projects to date so I’m very excited to be bringing it to life for the Veive Clicquot Widow Series.”
Tickets go on sale to the public on Monday 10th October.
