When: 7th-9th October 2016
Where: Butlin’s, Bognor Regis
Tomorrow, Rockaway Beach returns to the somewhat unlikely location of Butlin’s in Bognor Regis for its second year. This isn’t going to be a weekend filled with variety shows and men in red coats, though. Instead, you can expect the likes of Suede, Saint Etienne and Killing Joke to be performing, alongside Wire, We Are Scientists and The Wedding Present.
There’s also a large host of emerging bands and artists on the bill, including singer-songwriter Eliza Shaddad and Swedish post-punks FEWS. If that wasn’t enough, there’s also a very interesting film programme and Q&A sessions, including a screening of Where You’re Meant to Be alongside a live performance from Arab Stap’s Aidan Moffat. Plus, there’s bowling. The idea of Butlin’s suddenly seems quite appealing.
In advance of the event, the team at God Is In The TV has created a Spotify playlist of some of our personal favourite bands and artists playing at this year’s festival. Listen below.
