Kauf‘s latest single ‘Key To Life’, the third single taken from his forthcoming debut album Regrowth (due early 2017), starts off as a delicate and breezy electro track that sounds like it could fit into a film; think dark and brooding, or perhaps a drive through the night on some kind of a dangerous adventure as the setting and you’re already halfway there.
What’s great about it is the multifaceted quality it possesses. Each and every listen unearths something else: the uncomplicated melody; the staccato of the guitars; the bamboo flutes – all of the rounded out with Kauf’s easy vocals, as simple as the melody and yet complimenting brilliantly. Before you know it, ‘Key To Life’ seems to have grown arms and legs and turned into something pretty darn awesome.
