After releasing their album Majesty earlier in the year, psych-pop group Flamingods have had a busy summer playing festivals across the UK and Europe. They’ve now shared the title track from the album, which sets the ethereal, mystical tone for the rest of the LP. The band’s Kamal Rasool explains: “’Majesty’ is soaked in Eastern Mysticism; the idea that we were and still are to a degree in tune with the mystic power of nature […] It tells the story of someone who is living a lucid dream, searching for the truth and finding it within them-self and that around them.” Listen below.
In a couple of days, the band will also be heading off on a huge tour of Europe, which keeps them occupied right up until mid-December. In November, they’ll be returning to the UK for a number of dates across the country. Details below.
