Oakland-based singer-songwriter Hazel English is set to release her debut EP Never Going Home on 7th October via House Anxiety/ Marathon Artists. Produced by Jackson Phillips, better known as lo-fi indie artist Day Wave, the collection is designed to be a snapshot of her DIY recordings to date, with three previously unreleased tracks alongside the title track. Her light indie songs have previously drawn comparisons to the likes of Alvvays and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart.
English has now announced plans to tour the UK for the very first time in November. Taking in three locations across the country, it forms part of a small EU tour that also sees her travelling to the Netherlands and Belgium. Details below.
19th November – The Poetry Club, Glasgow
20th November – Headrow House, Leeds
21st November – The Waiting Room, London
English has also revealed the in-studio video for the single ‘It’s Not Real,’ another sparkling pop gem. Watch below.
