When: 18th-21st August 2016
Where: Brecon Beacons, Wales
It’s only about five weeks before Green Man Festival returns to the Brecon Beacons. The line-up already boasts headliners Belle & Sebastian, James Blake, Laura Marling and Wild Beasts, plus sets from Lush, Warpaint, Kamasi Washington and more. Now the organisers have announced a further 40 acts that will be appearing at this year’s event.
Electronic duo Factory Floor are set to showcase songs from their brand new LP 25 25 in the Far Out tent’s After Dark party. Meanwhile, the Cinedrome will showcase Welsh singer-songwriter H Hawkline, Liverpool flautist and singer Laura J Martin, Cardiff “sleaze-blues” artist Tender Prey and Droor, which features Cate Le Bon’s drummer. Meatraffle and Loose Meat are also beefy additions to the line-up.
Over on the Green Man Rising stage, there’s new additions in Welsh electro-pop artist Ani Glass, Paradisia and psych-rock-electro hybrid group HMS Morris. Tom Low is set to play some of his wonky-pop songs and singer-songwriter Bryde will be performing some of her dark, tender tunes.
A small army of top DJs will be popping up too, including Tom Ravenscroft, Huw Stephens and Pete Fowler. Chai Wallahs’ array of DJs and live artists are set to provide the fun after reasonable bedtime hours.
