Having previously announced her third studio album MY WOMAN – due to be released on 2nd September 2016 via Jagjaguwar – Angel Olsen now shares with us the video for her new single ‘Shut Up Kiss Me’. Directed by Olsen herself, the video captures the American musician at her subtle, impassioned and beguiling best.
The single was co-produced by Olsen and Justin Raisen (Charli XCX, Sky Ferreira, Santigold) and features Olsen (vocals, rhythm guitar) alongside her regular band of Stewart Bonaugh (lead guitar, piano), Emily Elhaj (bass guitar), and Joshua Jaeger (drums), plus guest Seth Kauffman (second guitar).
Angel Olsen’s MY WOMAN is available for pre-order now via Jagjaguwar, Rough Trade and Amazon. The previously revealed ‘Intern’ and ‘Shut Up Kiss Me’ are available now on all streaming services (including Spotify). Both tracks also come as an instant download with all iTunes pre-orders.
To support the release of My Woman, Angel Olsen will be performing live in the UK in October.
