Following on from their headline set on Glastonbury’s West Holts stage last weekend, Underworld’s Karl Hyde has revealed that he’s planning to publish a new retrospective later this year. The book, entitled I Am Dogboy, will be published by Faber & Faber on 3rd November.
Following a similar format to his online blog, the book will feature a number of diary entries dating back to 1999, peppered with new autobiographical words from Hyde. The retrospective will take in everything from Hyde’s childhood to his time as part of Underworld from the 1980s onwards. A collection of photographs from across his career will also feature. A longtime collaborator with Hyde, John Warwicker, has designed the book itself.
